Benefits & timing
Bring clarity to Social Security, Medicare, employer benefits, pensions, and the decisions that come with leaving work.
Retirement planning · Education · Guidance
Retirement decisions rarely happen one at a time. I help retirees and people approaching retirement organize the moving pieces into a clear, coordinated plan.
Since 1998 Helping families make informed financial decisions.
The whole picture
A confident retirement begins by understanding how income, benefits, investments, taxes, protection, and legacy choices work together.
Bring clarity to Social Security, Medicare, employer benefits, pensions, and the decisions that come with leaving work.
Organize your resources around the income you need, the risks you can accept, and the life you want to live.
Coordinate insurance, long-term-care considerations, beneficiaries, and estate-planning conversations with your broader plan.
A thoughtful process
Good planning starts with listening. The goal is not simply to accumulate more information—it is to understand what matters, evaluate the choices, and move forward deliberately.
We begin with your story: where you are today, what retirement means to you, and the questions keeping you from feeling fully prepared.
We review the pieces of your financial life, identify gaps and tradeoffs, and clarify which decisions deserve attention first.
We organize the next steps into a coordinated strategy designed around your goals, then revisit it as life changes.
Meet Caine
Caine Nakata began his financial-services career in 1998, learning alongside his father and seeing firsthand how thoughtful guidance can change a family’s future.
In 2010, Caine and his wife, Jasmyn, co-founded the firm now known as Milestone Wealth Management. His work remains centered on education—helping people understand their choices before asking them to make important decisions.
Caine also speaks through the Foundation for Financial Education and co-authored Don’t Let Your Retirement Drift Away, a practical guide to preparing for retirement and leaving a meaningful legacy.
Outside of work, family is at the center of Caine’s life. He enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, and cheering on his children in sports and the performing arts.
